Our highly trained staff is dedicated to your needs and will do whatever it takes to make sure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible.
HOSPITALIST PROGRAM
Implemented in 2003, our Hospitalist Program provides physician care for patients admitted around-the-clock. To ensure a patient is receiving the best possible care during their hospital stay, Hospitalists maintain constant communication with the patient’s primary care physician and consults with other specialists attending the patient.
ICU/CORONARY CARE UNIT
Decatur General's Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units (ICU/CCU) are equipped with the most advanced equipment. Our highly trained staff provide constant care for patients who require specialized treatment and continuous monitoring.
ICU/Coronary Care Unit at a Glance
- Medical, surgical and cardiac care beds.
- Visitations hours are posted in the ICU/CCU area.
- Visitations limited to immediate family
- Plants and flowers are not allowed in this area.
