CHALLENGE ROPES COURSE

Cooperation. Teamwork. Leadership. Trust. If these don’t sound like the building blocks of a healthy lifestyle, then you haven’t spent enough time on our Challenge Ropes Course.

Developed as an extension of the Behavioral Medicine Center, the Decatur General Challenge Ropes Course is a hands-on series of activities that emphasize team-building through cooperative activities. In Ropes training, you physically climb ropes, supporting your body and your teammates through a maze of challenging exercises for both the body and the mind.

Ropes training is an excellent method for developing teamwork, communication skills, leadership and collective creativity, while improving your ability to make quick, confident decisions. We offer the Ropes Course to individual patients, as well as to corporate groups. The intent is to push yourself both physically and emotionally, helping you rise above your expectations of yourself, and gain confidence in others.

Ropes training includes tailor-made activities with both high and low elements, and varying degrees of physical challenge. The course is offered to corporations, civic groups, schools and church groups. For more information, please call (256) 306-4000 or (800) 937-3873.
