Meet Our Team
The cancer-fighting experience begins long before a patient enters the Decatur General Oncology Center. From primary care physicians to specialists and surgeons, the team members may be vast and varied – but all are extremely important to the patient's well-being. Our group of medical and radiation oncologists works closely with your physicians to monitor your progress and recovery.
All of our oncologists are board certified and each has played an important role in helping us achieve designation by the American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Care program.

Traci McCormick, MD
- Traci McCormick, MD, is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist at Decatur General Oncology Center. She earned her medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Dr. McCormick has published research work in several leading peer-reviewed journals and has been awarded for her research regarding Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy. Dr. McCormick is an active participant in the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Morgan County Medical Society.

Lane Mathis Price, MD
- Lane Mathis Price, MD, FACRO, is a Radiation Oncologist and has served as Medical Director of the Decatur General Oncology Center since its begining in 1987. She earned her medical degree and completed a residency in Therapeutic Radiology at the Medical College of Georgia. Her medical interests include breast cancer, head-and-neck cancer, lung cancer, palliative care, pain management, genetic testing, radon exposure, and nutrition. Dr. Price is board certified in Radiation Oncology and is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. She is also board certified by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and serves as the Medical Director of Hospice of the Valley and as President of the Morgan County Medical Society.

Sammy Becdach, MD
- Sammy Becdach, MD, is a Medical Oncologist with the Comprehensive Cancer Institute. He earned his medical degree from Central University of Ecuador and completed a residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He completed a fellowship at Tulane University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Becdach is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Hematology, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Morgan County Medical Society, American College of Physicians and the Medical College of Physicians. He joined Decatur General in August 2003.

Winston Chua, MD
- Winston Chua, MD, is a Medical Oncologist at Decatur Oncology. Dr. Chua received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, the Phillipines, and he completed a residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Chua is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and is a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, Morgan County Medical Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Medical Association. He joined Decatur General in June 2002.

Naveen Lobo, MD
- Naveen Lobo, MD, is a Medical Oncologist at Decatur Oncology. Dr. Lobo received his medical degree from St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed a residency at University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, where he was awarded Intern of the Year and Best Outgoing Resident. He completed his fellowship at Wake Forest University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Morgan County Medical Society, Medical Association of the State of Alabama. He joined Decatur General in June 2004.
