FIRST IMPRESSIONS First Impressions, a special program of Decatur General Foundation, is an opportunity to commemorate the birth of a baby, while benefiting Women's and Children's Services of Decatur General. For a contribution of $125, the baby's actual footprints are etched in silver on a pink or blue medallion with the complete name and birth date. The medallion is permanently placed on the First Impressions wall in the Women's Center at Decatur General. Each donor also receives a duplicate of this beautifully crafted 3 1/8" diameter medallion and a lucite display easel. Additional medallions for other family members are available for $25 each. Your contribution will be designated to the Foundation's Women's and Children's Services Fund. First Impressions also is a way to commemorate children who remain with us only in our memories. Memorial medallions, with footprints, name, birth and death dates are etched in pink or blue with a silver background. You may commemorate anyone on the First Impressions wall, whether or not they were born at Decatur General, for the same contribution of $125. Simply furnish a copy of the footprints with your information form.
