Cardiac Rehabilitation
Heart patients – those who have had heart surgery, a heart attack or have symptoms of coronary artery disease – benefit from cardiac rehabilitation. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Decatur General is designed to restore each individual to a maximally productive, active and satisfying lifestyle. Both inpatient and outpatient programs are offered and include monitored exercise and education.

In addition, Morgan County Mended Hearts Support Group is available for patients, families, physicians and friends who are touched by heart disease. The support group, affiliated with the American Heart Association, meets monthly and provides education and encouragement.
