CHILD INPATIENT PROGRAM

Our Child Inpatient Program is designed to treat children ranging from five to 11 years old. Typically, children admitted to these programs are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. The programs provide a caring environment where children can learn to address their issues and learn more appropriate skills for handling them. Helping family members work together in a healthier manner is a key element in treatment. Therefore, regular family participation is expected.

Our specialized, multi-disciplinary team utilizes interactive/interpersonal therapies to work with children in the way they think, feel and behave. The Treatment Team consists of board-certified child psychiatrists, psychologist, counselors, social workers, chemical dependency counselors, activities therapist, nursing staff and teachers. River City Academy, our school program, allows children to continue their education while completing treatment.
